Date First Dose of Vaccine was Received: December 23, 2020

Have you received both doses of the vaccine? Yes

What was your overall experience getting vaccinated (was it easily accessible, did you have to wait a long time, etc.) It was given to me at work during my regular workday but I was on a standby list in case there was an 11th dose that could be drawn up from the vial (there was). My second dose was given to me in the context of a scheduled appointment with our occupational health team

Did you experience any side effects? If so, what were your symptoms and how long did you experience symptoms? 2nd dose put me to bed 4 hours earlier than usual time and I had myalgias and headache which woke me up several times throughout the night. My deltoid area was sore with each dose. No other side effects from first dose.

Why did you decide to get vaccinated? I have accepted every vaccine throughout my life. Professionally, being vaccinated is prerequisite.

Any additional thoughts or advice for people who have concerns about the COVID-19 vaccine? The recent batch recall of 330,000 doses of Moderna has caused some people I know who were on the fence about getting vaccinated to either postpone their decision or seek out a Pfizer vaccine

What was your overall experience getting vaccinated (was it easily accessible, did you have to wait a long time, etc.) Easy and fast

Did you experience any side effects? If so, what were your symptoms and how long did you experience symptoms? Yes, low grade fever and headache day after 2nd vaccine. Ibuprofen took care ok of it.

Why did you decide to get vaccinated? So i don't get covid

Any additional thoughts or advice for people who have concerns about the COVID-19 vaccine? Get it you'll be fine

What was your overall experience getting vaccinated (was it easily accessible, did you have to wait a long time, etc.) Was really quick and easy, just had to wait 15 minutes after to leave to monitor for reactions

Did you experience any side effects? If so, what were your symptoms and how long did you experience symptoms? Just a sore arm with both doses and a headache with the second. Nothing Tylenol didn’t fix

Why did you decide to get vaccinated? It’s really the only way forward, I don’t want to do another year of social distancing.

Any additional thoughts or advice for people who have concerns about the COVID-19 vaccine? It's safe, just do it.

What was your overall experience getting vaccinated (was it easily accessible, did you have to wait a long time, etc.) Pretty easy experience overall, a bit disjointed but was appropriately so based on urgent nature of vaccine distribution

Did you experience any side effects? If so, what were your symptoms and how long did you experience symptoms? pain at injection site, mild fatigue, headache, all resolved in 24 hours

Why did you decide to get vaccinated? It's the right thing to do to protect the population, especially those more vulnerable

Any additional thoughts or advice for people who have concerns about the COVID-19 vaccine? Stop making excuses and get vaccinated!
